Jacob Stotz Named New ARCA Menards Series Director in Major Leadership Shakeup

The ARCA Menards Series has officially appointed Jacob Stotz as its new Series Director, effective immediately. This ARCA Menards Series Director appointment marks a significant leadership change aimed at strengthening the organization’s future.

Stotz’s Experience and Local Ties to ARCA Racing

Jacob Stotz joins this role after four seasons as Senior Manager of Partnership Marketing and Event Operations for the ARCA Menards Series. Before that, he worked at Kentucky Speedway from 2013 to 2020, gaining experience in ticketing, sales, and client services. Stotz will be working closely with ARCA president Ron Drager during the transition, reporting directly to him from the ARCA office in Temperance, Michigan, near Toledo.

Stotz’s roots run deep in southeastern Michigan. A native of Ida, Michigan, he lived just minutes from ARCA’s headquarters. He graduated from Ida High School and the University of Toledo. His connection to the ARCA family began early when he sold tickets for the Monroe County Fair Demolition Derby, a staple event tied to ARCA for more than fifty years.

Ron Drager expressed strong confidence in Stotz’s abilities.

“Jake has immersed himself into the ARCA Menards Series over the last four years, in a very hands-on capacity working in just about every aspect of what we do from competition, administration, finance, and sales and marketing. He has built very solid relationships with drivers, teams, track operators, and sponsors. He has boundless enthusiasm and a willingness to learn, both of which are terrific qualities for his new position.”

Jacob Stotz shared his appreciation and determination upon accepting the directorship.

“I am completely humbled and blessed to be chosen as the next ARCA Menards Series Director,”

Stotz said.

Growing up in a small farming community, working in motorsports as a career never crossed my mind. With the support of a great surrounding team, there is no industry I would rather call home.
