Brad Perez is preparing for his fourth NASCAR Xfinity Series appearance of the 2025 season as he drives the No. 45 Chevrolet for Alpha Prime Racing in the Chilango 150 at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez on Saturday, June 14. This marks another opportunity for Perez to showcase his skills in the Brad Perez NASCAR Xfinity Series Mexico City race, an important event on his calendar.
Backing from Sendero Provisions Enhances Team Effort
Perez’s car will feature primary sponsorship from Sendero Provisions, a brand known for its premium apparel inspired by the landscapes and cultures of the American West. This partnership brings a meaningful connection to the trip and supports Perez’s drive in the race.
“It means the world to me to race internationally, especially in Latin America,”
Perez shared with TobyChristie.com.
“It means even more to have a partner like Sendero Provisions Co. go all-in like they have. Making this trip is super fun and meaningful is what they’re about and I’m excited to get down there and have some fun and eat some tacos with ’em.”

Experience and Past Performances Build Momentum
The 28-year-old racer first competed in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2022 and has participated in 15 races overall. His best finish came at the 2024 Circuit of the Americas event, where he placed 18th. This season, Perez’s three starts have all been on oval tracks, with his best result being 23rd at Martinsville Speedway in March.
While Perez has focused much of his recent racing on ovals, his background is rooted in road course racing. He has earned three top-20 finishes on road courses in the series and aims to leverage this experience for a strong run on Mexico City’s demanding 17-turn road course.
Racing Background Extends Beyond Xfinity Series
In addition to competing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, Perez has also made five starts in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, where his best finish is 20th. He has demonstrated promise in the ARCA Menards Series as well, with one top-10 finish in four career starts. This diverse racing experience reinforces his potential to make an impact at the upcoming race.
Outlook and Expectations for Mexico City Race
Perez’s participation in the Mexico City race signals a chance to improve on his career-best performance, particularly on a road course that suits his driving strengths. With strong backing from Alpha Prime Racing and Sendero Provisions, Perez approaches the event with optimism and enthusiasm, ready to challenge the field and aim for a breakthrough result that could elevate his NASCAR career.
