Carson Hocevar Celebrates Rajah Caruth’s Breakthrough NASCAR Truck Series Win at Nashville

Rajah Caruth achieved a significant milestone on Friday night at Nashville Superspeedway by winning the Rackley Roofing 200, marking his second career victory in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. Starting from tenth position, the 22-year-old driver surged forward, battling series points leader Corey Heim in the final laps to secure the checkered flag. Carson Hocevar, Caruth’s teammate, was there to celebrate with him in victory lane, making the moment even more memorable.

Intense Battle at Nashville Highlights Caruth’s Determination

The 150-lap race featured multiple lead changes and fierce competition among Rajah Caruth, Corey Heim, and Layne Riggs. Caruth finished third in the opening stage but gained momentum during a caution on lap 53, when his pit crew’s quick work advanced him by two positions. Despite Heim briefly reclaiming the lead with assistance from Riggs, Caruth remained persistent.

With about 50 laps remaining, another flawless pit stop positioned Caruth for a final push. The Washington, D.C. native then led 61 laps, narrowly outlasting Heim, who led 58 laps. This triumph marked the ninth truck series win for Spire Motorsports and was Caruth’s first since March 2024 at Las Vegas.

Teammate Carson Hocevar Joins Celebrations in Victory Lane

Fans and Caruth alike were pleasantly surprised when Cup Series driver Carson Hocevar appeared post-race to congratulate his teammate with a handshake and encouragement, boosting Caruth’s spirits. Reflecting on the win, Caruth was quick to credit his pit crew’s exceptional performance for the strong finish.

I didn’t expect that at all. Those guys were breathing down my neck the whole run,

The race-winning crew included Cody French, Dawson Backus, Josh Dale, Jarius Morehead, and Zico Pasut.
