Insights on Key Broadcasters and Analysts from Amazon Prime

During an interview with Frontstretch on May 24, Elliott detailed the composition of the Prime Video NASCAR broadcast team. The booth features play-by-play announcer Adam Alexander, alongside NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt Jr. and former crew chief Steve Letarte, both of whom have prior experience working in NBC’s NASCAR coverage.

The analyst lineup also includes reporter Danielle Trotta, former Cup Series driver Carl Edwards, and part-time racer Corey LaJoie, bringing a mix of insight and on-track experience to the broadcasts.

Reflecting on the team’s ability to tell engaging stories, Elliott said,

“Yeah, it’s been really, really good, honestly. They’ve been a pleasure to work with so far, very professional, and you know obviously very established in the sports world as of late and and they’ve just done a good job investing in the right things in my opinion.” —Chase Elliott, NASCAR driver

He further praised the selection of talent for the upcoming Coca-Cola 600 broadcast, stating,

“I think the talent that they have slated to come in this weekend is well done. I think how these stories are told some weeks can make something exciting or not, and I think people engage with the right people better than the wrong people… Everything I’ve been a part of so far has been first-class.” —Chase Elliott, NASCAR driver

Adding to the anticipation for the Coca-Cola 600, Chase Elliott will sport a unique paint scheme on his #9 car to honor TEC5 Clifford Strickland, a soldier who was captured and died as a prisoner of war during World War II. Elliott aims to improve on last year’s seventh-place finish at the Coca-Cola 600, after recording 33rd and 34th in the two previous seasons. He is targeting his second victory at this prestigious race, having first won in 2020, the same season he secured the NASCAR Cup Series championship.

Looking Ahead to Continued Amazon Prime NASCAR Coverage

The current Prime Video NASCAR broadcast schedule will culminate with The Great American Getaway 400, scheduled at Pocono Raceway on June 22. With Chase Elliott’s endorsement of the broadcast team’s professionalism, the partnership is positioned to deliver high-quality and engaging coverage for NASCAR fans throughout the season.

This collaboration between NASCAR and Amazon Prime signifies a new chapter in how the sport reaches its audience, combining experienced broadcasters with innovative streaming platforms to enhance the viewing experience.
