Jack Wood Bio
Jackson Ryan Wood (born August 7, 2000) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He last competed full-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, driving the No. 91 Chevrolet Silverado RST for McAnally–Hilgemann Racing. He has also competed part-time in the ARCA Menards Series West, driving the No. 16 Chevrolet SS for Bill McAnally Racing, and previously raced in the ARCA Menards Series and the ARCA Menards Series East.

Jackson Ryan Wood was born on August 7, 2000, in Loomis, California, a small Placer County community known for producing West Coast racing talent. He is the son of Don and Lisa Wood, and Don Wood is a prominent businessman in the Loomis area. Wood grew up alongside a brother, Samuel, and a sister, Megan, who later joined the Equestrian Team at Baylor University.
Coming from a family with the resources and interest to field racing equipment, Wood was introduced to motorsports at a young age. He eventually progressed through local short tracks in Northern California, building a foundation in stock cars that would later support his move into NASCAR-sanctioned competition. Path to NASCAR
Wood began climbing NASCAR’s developmental ladder in 2019, competing part-time in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East with his family-owned team, Velocity Racing. On November 2, 2020, GMS Racing announced that Wood would join the organization in 2021 to run full-time in the ARCA Menards Series East and the Sioux Chief Showdown races in the main ARCA Menards Series, replacing two-time East Series champion Sam Mayer.
