Antoinette Marie Breidinger, known as Toni, was born on July 14, 1999, in San Francisco, California. She was raised in Hillsborough, California, and is of Lebanese and German descent. Breidinger has a twin sister named Annie. She attended Mercy High School in Burlingame, graduating in 2017. Toni has expressed fond memories of her high school years, appreciating the diversity of her environment and the cultural richness it provided.
Breidinger began her journey in motorsports at the age of nine when her father introduced her and her sister to go-kart racing after seeing an advertisement for a go-kart school. Despite facing a significant injury in 2011 when she broke her arm during a go-kart race, she continued to pursue her passion for racing.
Path to NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series
In 2014, at the age of 15, Breidinger transitioned to the USAC Western US Asphalt Midget Series, where she quickly made a name for herself by finishing as the runner-up in her first season. After another runner-up finish in 2015, she clinched the series championship in 2016, becoming the winningest female driver in any USAC asphalt division at that time. Initially aspiring to continue in open-wheel racing, she shifted her focus to stock car racing after being inspired by late model races.
After graduating high school, Breidinger moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, to further her racing career.
