amfAR Joins Formula 1 Heineken Las Vegas Grand Prix for Star-Studded Gala to Fight HIV

On Friday, November 21, 2025, amfAR will host its return to Las Vegas with an exclusive benefit gala held at Wynn Las Vegas in collaboration with the Formula 1 Heineken Las Vegas Grand Prix. The event will feature a seated dinner, live auctions of rare automobiles and fine art, luxury experiences, and musical performances—all aimed at raising funds to support amfAR’s critical research to cure HIV.

Exclusive Access and Premium Experiences for Gala Attendees

Attendees of the amfAR gala will have the opportunity to access exclusive premium race weekend packages, including the Wynn Grid Club 3-day pass and the Formula 1 Paddock Club™ available for one to three days. These premium experiences complement the excitement surrounding the Formula 1 Heineken Las Vegas Grand Prix and enhance the gala weekend for supporters.

Strong Partnership and Shared Commitment to Fighting AIDS

amfAR CEO Kevin Robert Frost expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating,

“We are thrilled and grateful to be officially partnering with Formula 1 this year,”

and added,

“Their support will help advance our research aimed at curing HIV and will bring much-needed global visibility to the fight against AIDS.”

Emily Prazer, President and CEO of Las Vegas Grand Prix, Inc., emphasized the importance of the collaboration by saying,

“We have immense respect for the work amfAR does in the fight against AIDS, and we’re honored to be a presenting partner for this year’s gala. It’s a great event that raises critical funds for an even greater mission, and we are proud to have it serve as a meaningful complement to the excitement of Las Vegas race week.”

Impact and Legacy of Previous amfAR Las Vegas Galas

The inaugural amfAR Las Vegas gala last year, also held at Wynn Las Vegas, raised over $3 million for HIV research and was hosted by comedian Jay Leno. The event featured a special performance by Diana Ross and honored Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Stallone with amfAR’s Award of Inspiration. Despite advances in treatment, HIV/AIDS remains a significant health challenge in the U.S., especially in Nevada, which has one of the highest infection rates nationwide. amfAR’s funding is crucial to advancing research towards a cure and improving treatment accessibility globally.

Support from Local and Event Partners

Wynn Las Vegas continues its role as the official hotel and resort partner for amfAR Las Vegas, with additional support from 101 Studios. The partnership between amfAR and the Formula 1 Heineken Las Vegas Grand Prix helps to elevate awareness and funding efforts amid the high-profile race week festivities.
