Courtney Force, wife of IndyCar driver Graham Rahal, offered a touching update as they anticipate the birth of their third child. Sharing moments from the 2025 IndyCar Round 14 at the Java House Grand Prix of Monterey, she revealed that she will likely miss the last three races this season to prepare for the new arrival.
Force posted several photos on social media capturing the family’s excitement at the Monterey circuit, where they enjoyed the racing action and special moments together. She expressed her bittersweet feelings about missing the final races, writing:
“Laguna Seca. And likely the last race we can make it to before the season ends & baby #3 arrives! Always love coming to Monterey & getting to cheer on Graham Rahal! Plus the girls got to see fire hawk & we got to meet Tyson Ritter & his car enthusiast dad at the track too!” — Courtney Force
Married since November 2015, Graham Rahal and Courtney Force are already parents to two daughters, Harlan Ann Rahal, born in November 2020, and Tinley Leighton Rahal, who arrived in September 2022. As they prepare to welcome their third child, the family balances their busy racing season with growing responsibilities at home.
Rahal’s Performance and Family Support at Monterey
Graham Rahal competed in the 95-lap Grand Prix of Monterey, starting from the eighth position and finishing 12th in his #15 car for Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing. Although he lost four positions during the race, Rahal remained competitive throughout, supported by his family’s on-site encouragement.
After 14 rounds of the ongoing IndyCar season, Rahal sits 19th in the driver standings with 213 points. His earlier finish in 2024 ranked 18th, and he aims to improve his ranking in the coming events before the season concludes.

Rahal Reflects on Monterey Race and Season Prospects
Following the race, Rahal described the Monterey event as straightforward, highlighting the strategic moves among top competitors. He recounted a close contest with Scotty McLaughlin, which held his focus for nearly the entire race. Rahal commented on the day’s performance:
“It was a fairly straightforward race. The strategy of a couple of those guys helped some of the guys who leapfrogged us cycle to the front like Dixon, Ilott and another. But I felt we held our own all day. Scotty (McLaughlin) and I had a good battle for what felt like 90 of the 95 laps. I would have liked a little better of a finish today but for sure I’m not going to be disappointed in it.” — Graham Rahal
Competing since 2008 in the top tier of American open-wheel racing, Rahal aims to climb higher in the standings during the final three races of the season. The challenges of balancing family life, especially with the imminent addition of their child, make this period especially significant for both Rahal and Force.
As Courtney prepares for their third child’s arrival and Rahal focuses on improving his season results, the upcoming races and family milestones mark an important chapter for the couple. Their continued dedication to both racing and family highlights the close-knit support behind Rahal’s efforts on the track.
