Jack Miller Admits Feeling Pressure Sharing MotoGP Box with Toprak Razgatlioglu

Jack Miller is set to join forces with Toprak Razgatlioglu for the Pramac MotoGP team, a move that has stirred considerable excitement in the motorsport world. This partnership, beginning ahead of the 2026 season, follows Yamaha’s signing of the double World Superbike champion Razgatlioglu, adding significant weight and anticipation to the team’s prospects. Miller, continuing with Pramac for another year, shared his feelings about working alongside the Turkish racing star, highlighting the pressure and excitement this pairing brings.

Miller Opens Up About the Challenge of Racing Next to a World Champion

During a recent appearance on MotoGP’s Gear Up show, Miller expressed awe at sharing the paddock with Razgatlioglu.

“It’s unreal to share a box with Toprak,”

he said.

“He’s a legend already, and it’s awesome to see what he’s going to do over here in MotoGP.”

While Miller’s enthusiasm is clear, he also revealed a sense of being somewhat overshadowed by Razgatlioglu’s skills, particularly his prowess with stoppies, a challenging motorcycle maneuver.

“I’ve said it a couple of times, but it’s the first time I’ll be sharing the box with someone who can do a better ‘stoppie’ than me. So, I’ve got an inferior feeling in the box already! But, no, it will be awesome. Some good positive energy from the both of us for the project, which is what it needs,”

Miller added with a smile, emphasizing the healthy competition and collaborative spirit growing between them.

Respect and Admiration for Razgatlioglu’s Personality and Reputation

Miller did not just admire Razgatlioglu’s racing capabilities but also praised his character, describing him as one of the most genuine people he has met in the sport.

“Whenever he has popped by the MotoGP paddock, he’s always gone out of his way to say ‘g’day’ and stuff like that. And I appreciate that. He’s a genuine bloke,”

Miller remarked. The respect goes both ways, as Miller highlighted the positive feedback from those in the Superbike paddock who have worked with Razgatlioglu.

“Anyone in our paddock that’s worked with him in Superbikes has nothing but good things to say about him. So, I think he will be a nice addition to the MotoGP grid.”

Razgatlioglu’s Dominant Form and the Future of the Partnership

Currently, Toprak Razgatlioglu is dominating the World Superbike championship with a commanding 39-point lead after securing a triple victory in France recently. As he prepares to transition into MotoGP, the anticipation around how this powerful duo will perform together intensifies.
