Jack Miller Praises Australian Motorcycle Racers After Jerez DNF, Hails Young Talents’ Impressive Performances

Despite retiring from the Spanish Grand Prix at Jerez, Jack Miller expressed strong admiration for the performances of Australian riders competing in the Moto2 and Moto3 categories. The Prima Pramac Yamaha rider praised his fellow countrymen’s efforts during a weekend where several Australians stood out, celebrating their impressive achievements and promising future.

Miller captured the excitement surrounding Australian success, recalling a moment when teammates gathered with coffee in the hospital after the race.

Oh, mega mega day for Aussie Racing. Shame I couldn’t keep up my end of the bargain, but the boys did a good job,

he said, reflecting both pride and determination to support his compatriots despite his own setback.

Highlighting the achievements of young riders Joel Kelso and Senna Agius, Miller noted,

Jolie’s having a good year already, with a couple podiums and same as Senna. Really, really happy for the boys. Fingers crossed they can keep it going.

His optimism was clear, particularly about Agius’s rising potential in the fiercely competitive field.

He also acknowledged the high standard of racing, citing competitors like Rueda and Gonzalez who delivered remarkable performances in Moto3 and Moto2 respectively.

Rueda rode a fantastic race. That pace was ridiculous in Moto3 and same with Gonzalez in Moto2. But it was cool to see Senna fight his way through, and the boys were making it hard. It looked even difficult to overtake in Moto2 around here. So, good day,

Miller concluded with hopeful enthusiasm.

This display of Australian talent underscores a growing presence in international motorcycle racing, signaling a bright future for riders like Senna Agius and Joel Kelso. Jack Miller’s public recognition not only boosts morale but also highlights the resilience and skill of Australian racers in a demanding sport, promising more thrilling developments ahead.
