Jimmie Johnson NASCAR Team Secures Dollar Tree Sponsorship Extension Through 2028 in Major Deal

Jimmie Johnson’s Legacy Motor Club has secured a significant sponsorship extension with retail giant Dollar Tree, confirming their collaboration through the 2028 NASCAR Cup Series seasons. This agreement guarantees Dollar Tree’s branding presence on the team’s cars for the next three years, reinforcing the partnership that benefits both the team and the retailer due to NASCAR’s extensive fan base worldwide.

Dollar Tree, valued at a market capitalization of $22.365 billion, first teamed up with Legacy Motor Club at the start of 2024. The multi-year deal covers all 38 NASCAR Cup Series races annually. Under the renewed contract, Dollar Tree will sponsor the No. 42 car driven by John Hunter Nemechek, as well as the No. 43 car piloted by Erik Jones, maintaining consistent exposure for both drivers through the 2028 season.

The announcement was initially shared by NASCAR insider Bob Pockrass on social media, followed by an official statement from Dollar Tree’s Chief Merchandising Officer, Rick McNeely.

“We’re excited to extend our partnership with LEGACY MOTOR CLUB through 2028. This continued collaboration puts our brand in front of millions of loyal NASCAR fans and gives us the opportunity to drive deeper engagement with customers in a bold, high-energy environment. We’re looking forward to what’s ahead with Jimmie Johnson, John Hunter, Erik, and the entire LEGACY Motor Club team,” said Rick McNeely, Chief Merchandising Officer, Dollar Tree.
