Joey Logano Unveils Surreal Trump White House Souvenir Spree After NASCAR Win

Joey Logano recently detailed his visit to the White House as a NASCAR Cup Series champion. During this remarkable visit, Logano, who won his third Cup Series title last year, joined figures such as Ryan Blaney, team owner Roger Penske, and NASCAR Commissioner Steve Phelps. This visit marked his second time visiting during a Trump presidency, following his first championship in 2018. The experience was strikingly different from his previous appearances.

Logano shared an unexpected moment where former President Trump led the racing champions into a surprisingly large room stocked with an array of Trump-themed merchandise. As Logano recounted, Trump encouraged them to take their pick. “Probably the funniest part is – so he didn’t have this there last time I was there,” Logano said. “I call it a closet. It’s bigger than a closet. But it has all like Trump merch in there. And he is like, ‘Just grab whatever you want.’”

The surreal scene unfolded as Logano and fellow drivers, including Blaney and Newgarden, explored the offerings, ranging from shoes to watches. Logano humorously recalled Penske’s request amidst the abundance, saying, “And Roger’s looking at us. He’s like, ‘Grab me a hat or something.’ But like, we’re taking shoes and we’re taking stuff. Felt like I was robbing the place. It felt weird.”

This unique incident highlights the unexpected occasions and memorable aspects that can accompany the honor of a presidential visit for sporting champions. Such encounters may offer trophies more symbolic than tangible, leaving lasting memories.

Looking forward, Joey Logano’s career continues to inspire both high school audiences and motorsport enthusiasts, showcasing how determination and success can lead to unusual yet cherished experiences, epitomized by this memorable visit to the White House.
