Entering his third season with the team, Busch is chasing his first victory of the 2025 season despite missing the playoffs. He still has eight races left this year to overcome a winless streak dating back to June 2023.
Small Annoyances Between Kyle and Samantha
Kyle Busch revealed he dislikes being told what to do or being yelled at. Samantha, in turn, pointed out a habit of hers that frustrates Kyle—leaving drawers open around their home. Kyle described a relatable incident involving kitchen cabinet doors.
“Oh my God, yes,” Kyle Busch exclaimed (11:06). “The drawers in the kitchen, cabinet doors in the kitchen…literally…we did a TikTok video…I don’t even know what it is…is it a reel? Anyway, we did a video where she leaves the upper cabinet door open and I walk in the room and smack my face. That was not fake, that was legit.”
On the other side, Samantha listed two main pet peeves about Kyle: keeping his phone volume at maximum and sometimes drinking from the side of his mouth. She candidly admitted, “It looks ridiculous.”
The couple has been married for over 14 years, celebrating their anniversary last December 31. Samantha often supports Kyle during race days alongside their children, son Brexton and daughter Lennix.
Welcoming Millie: A New Family Member Surprise
In August 2025, Kyle and Samantha introduced their family’s newest addition, Millie, a Miniature Australian Shepherd puppy. The Busch family already had an older dog named Piper before Millie arrived.
Brexton had expressed a wish for an Australian Shepherd, so Samantha and Kyle planned a surprise. They placed the puppy inside a gift box at their front door, arranging the scene as though an unexpected package had been left for the family. When the doorbell rang, Busch brought the box inside for the kids.
Upon opening the box, Brexton was amazed and quickly embraced Millie, who immediately showed affection by licking his nose. Lennix initially seemed puzzled, mistaking the puppy for a cat at first.
