At Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, N.C., the 2025 NASCAR Night delivered intense racing action, with father and son Kyle and Brexton Busch both capturing their third victories of the Cook Out Summer Shootout season. Their success highlighted a night showcasing premier motorsports competition, while Cash Lecroy also extended his winning streak in the Chargers division during Round 4.

Brexton Busch Commands the Bandolero Bandits Field

Brexton Busch soared to victory in the Bandolero Bandits category, starting from the outside of row two and quickly advancing when James Behnke incurred a penalty before the official green flag. Busch secured the lead early and maintained a dominant pace throughout, finishing more than two seconds ahead to claim the Round 4 win on the quarter-mile oval.

The battle for runner-up spot was fierce as Behnke, Gerald White III, Maverick Bradshaw, and Teagan Knowland provided thrilling competition. Knowland impressively climbed the ranks to second position by Lap 11, only to be overtaken again by Behnke with a strategic inside pass in Turn 4. The race concluded with Behnke in second, Knowland third, White III in fourth, and Bradshaw rounding out the top five finishers behind Busch’s commanding victory.

Kyle Busch Dominates the American Rebel Ale Masters Division

Adding further prestige to the event, Kyle Busch delivered a masterful performance in the American Rebel Ale Masters Division. From start to finish, Busch held the lead consistently despite multiple caution periods that reduced the field significantly due to incidents. He skillfully avoided the chaos and expanded his advantage each restart, finishing comfortably ahead of Shawn Parked in second place. Jesse Bunnell, Lee Jordan, and Brandin Wrisley completed the top five.

Busch’s win at Charlotte extends his legendary racing record at America’s Home for Racing, with a remarkable total of 19 victories across NASCAR’s top three series, underscoring his status as one of the sport’s all-time greats.

Cash Lecroy Secures Third Consecutive Victory in Chargers Division

Continuing his impressive run, Cash Lecroy took the lead early in the Chargers division race and maintained it, capturing his third straight win in Round 4. This dominant streak earned him a promotion to the VP Fuels Semi-Pro division for the upcoming Round 5. The race saw an early caution caused by a 12-car crash, yet both polesitter Thomas Harris and Lecroy emerged without damage.

The competition for first intensified on Lap 7 when Lecroy and Harris raced side by side into Turn 3, with Harris faltering slightly, allowing Lecroy to overtake. Lecroy then built a sizeable lead before the race ended under caution due to another incident, securing his victory. Rhylee Hutchins finished second, closely followed by Brexton Busch in third, with Knox Bryant and Thomas Harris completing the top five.

Winners Across Divisions Celebrate at the Quarter-Mile

Other divisions at NASCAR Night also crowned winners, with Brody Zacharias taking the Beginner Bandos, Rylan Speight winning the Outlaws, Spencer Bradshaw leading the Young Lions, Sam Butler triumphing in the VP Fuels Semi-Pro, and Jensen Jorgensen victorious in the Dilling, Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical Pros division. These celebrations added to the electric atmosphere on the famed quarter-mile track.

Looking ahead, the Cook Out Summer Shootout continues with a lively doubleheader leading into Fourth of July festivities. On Monday, June 30, fans can expect fast-paced racing alongside interactive games and prizes, highlighted by a special gift for the 100th fan entering for the Night of Games presented by Bojangles. The following night, Tuesday’s Red, White & Vrooms event, supported by PRO-FABrication Headers & Exhaust, will offer free admission to first responders and military members, feature autograph opportunities with drivers, and conclude with a spectacular fireworks display.
