Marco Bezzecchi Returns to Le Mans with High Hopes After Strong Jerez Tests and Past Triumphs

Marco Bezzecchi, the Italian rider for Aprilia Racing, arrives at the French Grand Prix with strong determination and high hopes. Following a challenging weekend in Jerez, Bezzecchi is eager to compete at Le Mans, the historic sixth round of the MotoGP World Championship, inspired by promising results in recent tests and his past successes on the circuit.

Expressing his enthusiasm, Bezzecchi stated,

“I’m happy to be going to Le Mans. I really want to get back in the saddle after the Jerez tests, which were positive.”

His optimism is fueled not only by the encouraging preparation but also by a special connection to the Bugatti Circuit, where he celebrated his first premier class victory in 2023.

Bezzecchi’s history at Le Mans is impressive, with a win in MotoGP and two third-place finishes in Moto2 in 2020 and 2021. This track, known for its mix of slow and fast corners, suits his racing style well, lending confidence as he tackles the upcoming race.

“We are highly motivated and ready to give one hundred percent,”

he affirmed, determined to overcome recent challenges and capitalize on the potential shown during testing.

Aprilia Racing approaches the event with optimism, fresh from a third-place finish in the 2024 sprint race. Bezzecchi will be joined by teammate Lorenzo Savadori, who replaces Jorge Martín, recovering from an injury sustained in Qatar. With momentum on his side and strong team support, Marco Bezzecchi is poised to make a significant impact at Le Mans, aiming to secure another memorable victory in the fiercely competitive MotoGP season.
