Bezzecchi Reflects on His Performance and Challenges During the Race
After the race, Bezzecchi shared his thoughts from the parc fermé, saying,
“It’s fantastic to be here, it’s been a long time since I’ve been on the Sprint podium and there’s no better way to come back here to Assen. I love this track, I love the fans and it’s been fantastic.”
He explained that while he gave an aggressive performance, aiming to challenge Álex Márquez, a slight mistake at turn 3 cost him some distance. He added,
“I was going very fast and at one point I thought I could also attack Álex [Márquez], but I lost the front of the bike a little in turn 3 and lost a few meters because of that, but it was a fantastic job during the day and we’ll see how it goes tomorrow.”
