Renowned Andretti Global driver Marcus Ericsson has been diligently preparing for the 109th Indianapolis 500 set to occur on May 25. Recently, Ericsson participated in an intensive open testing session at the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway, a crucial step toward the legendary race.

During the two-day testing period, Marcus Ericsson shared captivating moments with his fans, including images showcasing him confidently jumping into his car, ready to tackle the laps. The Swedish driver concluded the first day of testing on April 23 in ninth place, clocking a commendable speed of 222.505 mph. The following day saw him slightly dropping to 12th position, yet impressively amping up his speed to 230.075 mph. Ericsson’s experience at the speedway is seasoned with a triumphant 2022 Indy 500 win with Chip Ganassi Racing, despite a challenging 2024 race where an early incident cut his efforts short.
