Marcus Ericsson’s Romantic Indy Celebration: 2nd Wedding Anniversary at ‘Vida’

Marcus Ericsson and his wife, Iris Jondahl, celebrated their second wedding anniversary in grand style. On April 20, 2025, the couple, who married on April 17, 2023, marked the occasion at their favorite Indianapolis restaurant, Vida. Ericsson shared the joyous moment with his fans through an Instagram story featuring Jondahl elegantly dressed in a black sequin outfit.

The Swedish-Greek model, Iris Jondahl, is a remarkable figure in the modeling industry, renowned for her work with multiple agencies in Greece and Bouvet Island. While born in Sweden, Jondahl grew up in Denmark alongside her brother. Her talents extend beyond modeling as she’s appeared in films and television, carving out a niche in the acting world.

Marcus Ericsson, known for his past in Formula 1, embarked on his IndyCar journey in 2019 with Schmidt Peterson Motorsports, now Arrow McLaren. His current season has been steady, beginning with a commendable 7th place qualification and a 6th-place finish at the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg. In the latest Grand Prix at Long Beach, he qualified 5th but concluded the race in 12th place due to challenges on the track.

Ericsson’s recent race at Long Beach left him feeling frustrated. Despite starting among the top six, an aggressive pit strategy and heavy traffic saw him end up in 12th place. He candidly shared his thoughts with Frontstretch, discussing the difficulties faced during the race and expressing satisfaction with his teammate Kyle Kirkwood‘s performance.

Currently positioned 12th in the championship standings, Marcus Ericsson is eager to climb higher as the season progresses. His determination and skill are evident, promising thrilling races ahead. As Ericsson and Jondahl continue to enjoy their anniversary celebrations, the racing world watches keenly, anticipating his next moves.
