“I have a one-year contract with BMW, and while I’m not fixated on coming back, I’m certainly keeping the door ajar. MotoGP has been my life for the last 15 years, and you never know what the future holds.”

“Yamaha did express interest, but I didn’t see the potential there that I found with BMW. My goal was to align myself with the best team and bike possible, and BMW offered that promise.”
