“My dad dirt raced growing up, when I was growing up. So, I went to the racetrack. I was six weeks old the first time my mom ever took me to the racetrack.”
He added that his racing activities started at a very young age: BMX racing at three, go-kart racing at five, and eventually competing with full-size dirt cars at the Memphis Motorsports Park, a venue that once hosted NASCAR’s Nationwide Series events. “That’s how I got my start, just racing dirt tracks… So, just started figuring out my skills in dirt track racing, and that’s what I knew growing up, and that’s all I really wanted to do.
