NASCAR driver Ryan Blaney and his fiancée, Gianna Tulio, have created a charming rural retreat they call the Blaney Bunch Farm in North Carolina, where they care for a variety of animals. Tulio, who is expecting their child, often shares glimpses of their pets and farm life on social media. During a recent appearance on the Team Blaney podcast, Blaney talked about expanding their animal family and the special role these creatures play on their property.
Meet the Nigerian Dwarf Goats and Their Charming Lifestyle
The farm is home to several Nigerian Dwarf goats, along with dogs and cats. These goats, named Fiona, Peanut, and Juniper, enjoy a spacious pasture complete with repurposed NASCAR tires transformed into playful structures. Blaney described their morning routine, saying,
“We built this big pen for them. We keep them in this little shed at night just for safety reasons. I go out every morning with my coffee and let them out and just hang out with them for 30 minutes, and it’s just really cool.”
The goats are three females, and Blaney finds them amusing and delightful companions.
Plans to Expand the Farm’s Animal Family
Looking ahead, Blaney revealed plans to add chickens to the farm, while Tulio hopes to bring mini cows into the fold, which he described as pretty funny looking. Additionally, the couple may welcome a donkey, valued as a guardian against local predators like coyotes and foxes. Blaney noted that donkeys provide the kind of protection that their dogs cannot, bringing extra muscle to their animal community.
Thoughtful Design and Therapy Work at the Farm
The couple designed the farm layout with the animals’ needs in mind. Tulio shared that while she articulated the vision, Blaney was responsible for the farm’s detailed design. The space includes feed nets for safety and a carefully organized pasture. Beyond their enjoyment, some animals serve as therapy companions, supporting Ryan Blaney Family Foundation initiatives aimed at promoting wellness and happiness. The therapy work extends through partnerships, such as with Autism 360, an effort featured by Fallen Oak Farms to foster connection for those in need.
The Meaning Behind the Blaney Bunch Farm’s Animal Companions
The growing number of animals and thoughtful care on the Blaney Bunch Farm highlight how Blaney and Tulio blend family life with community care. The presence of goats, dogs, cats, and soon chickens and a donkey, reflects their commitment to nurturing both animals and people. As their family expands, the farm is likely to become an even more vibrant haven for pets and therapy animals, providing joy and comfort well beyond its peaceful acreage.
