Ryan Blaney Downplays His Hall of Fame Prospects
Despite his ongoing success, 2023 Cup Series champion Ryan Blaney expressed little interest in discussing his potential future in the NASCAR Hall of Fame. On the Team Blaney podcast, he emphasized that the Hall of Fame is not on his mind at this stage of his career.
“I don’t know. No, as far as my deal goes, like I don’t think about that stuff. Like, I don’t think about it at all. If it happens, it happens. I got a long road to go. So, we’ll just see when the time comes, but it’s not something that I think about,”
said Blaney.
Blaney’s Role in Last Year’s Hall of Fame Voting
Though not considering his own induction, Blaney participated in the Hall of Fame voting last year as the reigning champion, listening to the nominees’ case presentations. While he did not publicly voice his opinions, he supported Harry Gant’s nomination and was pleased when Gant made the class.
