Gianna Tulio, the wife of NASCAR driver Ryan Blaney, recently offered a pregnancy update on social media, proudly displaying her baby bump in an Instagram story. This came shortly after Blaney’s fourth-place finish during the race weekend at Iowa Speedway. Their focus on family has become a focal point amid Blaney’s racing schedule.
The couple, who married in December 2024 in Aspen, Colorado, announced their pregnancy last month. They are expecting their first child, a baby boy, due by the end of the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season, as confirmed by Blaney.
On Tuesday, Tulio posted an Instagram story to share her progress with followers.
“Bump update,” she wrote as a caption.
Clarifying Absences from NASCAR Events Amid Pregnancy Challenges
Gianna Tulio has missed several NASCAR races to manage her pregnancy, leading to speculation about her relationship with Ryan Blaney. During a podcast interview on Believe in the Good with Haley Dillon, Ty Dillon’s wife, Tulio addressed the rumors surrounding her absences from the tracks. She clarified the cause was solely related to pregnancy and not any personal issues.
“There’s a lot of speculation going around. Everyone either thinks I’m pregnant, or they’re like, ‘Gianna and Ryan are having issues. She’s not at the track.’ And I’m like, ‘I’m just pregnant.’ I’m just pregnant and sick, don’t worry,” Tulio said.
She also recalled friendly spotters discussing her condition during races, which often required her to respond discreetly.
“One of the guys that stands on the spotter’s stands we’re friends with, he’s like, ‘I swear, every race, all the spotters speculate if Gianna’s pregnant or not.’ And I just had to sit there and act like I don’t know what’s going on. I’m like, ‘Everyone’s so nosy,’” she added.
Meanwhile, Ryan Blaney is preparing for the last three races of the regular NASCAR Cup Series season at Watkins Glen, Richmond, and Daytona. Blaney has already secured his playoff spot with a win at Nashville Superspeedway, representing Team Penske in car #12.

Gianna Tulio Offers Support to Others Battling Hyperemesis During Pregnancy
Amid her own struggles, Gianna Tulio expressed heartfelt support for mothers enduring hyperemesis gravidarum, a severe pregnancy condition causing ongoing nausea and dehydration. She revealed her frequent hospital visits for intravenous fluids and medication, emphasizing the difficulty while staying focused on the health of her baby.
“To my Hyperemesis mamas, I see you. It’s a scary ride at times, but you aren’t alone. I’m at the point where I have to come to the hospital transfusion center 2x a week for medicated IV’s but it’s all worth it having a healthy baby.”
From Las Vegas Meeting to Starting a Family
Ryan Blaney and Gianna Tulio first crossed paths in Las Vegas in 2018—Blaney was there for a race while Tulio was working a modeling job. Their relationship became public in 2020, and they got engaged three years later, shortly after Blaney’s first NASCAR Cup Series championship win. Now, as they anticipate the arrival of their baby boy, their partnership is evolving into a growing family.
