Following mechanical difficulties in his recent ARCA Menards Series contest at Charlotte Motor Speedway, Ryan Roulette is set to compete again this weekend at Michigan International Speedway. The Minot, North Dakota-born driver will race the No. 67 Ford Mustang as part of his 2025 ARCA Menards Series schedule with Maples Motorsports, aiming to improve on past performances.
Experience and Support Build Momentum Ahead of the Race
Roulette’s appearance marks his second career start at the two-mile Michigan track after a 16th-place finish last August with Fast Track Racing. Since beginning his ARCA career four years ago, Roulette has managed to balance his responsibilities as a B-52 pilot alongside his racing ambitions, progressing steadily in the series. His best result so far includes two top-10 finishes, notably an eighth-place at Salem Speedway in 2024.
This season, Roulette secured a ninth-place finish at Daytona International Speedway during his debut with Maples Motorsports, which has long been supported by sponsors VFW and SAVE22. These partners remain committed to his effort in Michigan, strengthening his campaign.
Honoring Military Service Through Racing Partnerships
A distinctive element of Roulette’s program is the participation of VFW members as honorary pit crew members at events, creating a meaningful connection between the racing community and military veterans. For this weekend’s Henry Ford Health 200, held on Friday, June 6 at 5:00 PM and broadcast on FS1, Reinold Yahnka, a U.S. Air Force veteran, will join as an honorary pit crew member.
Yahnka’s military career includes service as an Armament Systems Specialist at Ubon Royal Thai Air Force Base and Korat Royal Thai Air Force Base in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War, as well as seven years at Minor ADF in North Dakota. Currently, he serves as the State Commander for the Department of Michigan VFW, where he lives with his wife Diana, their three children, and five grandchildren.
Shared Ties to North Dakota Strengthen Bonds Ahead of Race
Both hailing from the Minot region, Roulette and Yahnka are expected to share a strong personal connection during the Michigan event. This bond reflects the broader theme of resilience and mutual support that defines Roulette’s racing journey, combining his military background with his development as a professional driver.
The Henry Ford Health 200 presents an opportunity for Roulette to rebound from recent setbacks, build on his promising results, and maintain momentum in his ARCA Menards Series campaign for the 2025 season.
