Amanda Wallace, wife of NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace, recently posted an update on Instagram showing her baby bump as they prepare to welcome their second child this month. The couple, who have known each other since high school, announced the pregnancy last October and are now close to their due date.
Bubba Wallace and Amanda began dating during his college years and tied the knot on New Year’s Eve 2022. Their first son, Becks Hayden, was born on September 29, 2024. Amanda’s latest social media post, captioned “Pregnant Chic,” highlighted her advancing pregnancy as excitement builds for the new arrival.
Bubba Wallace’s Commitment to Family Over Racing
Wallace recently revealed on The Teardown podcast that he plans to miss an upcoming NASCAR race to be present for the birth of his second child. This decision follows an experience he had during the birth of Becks, which he missed due to race commitments.
“We’ve made the decision. I unfortunately missed the birth of my first kid; I’m not missing the second one. It was actually Amanda’s call on the first one. She was like, ‘Winning is so important. I don’t see a scenario where you’re not missing him, unless he came on like a Wednesday, but Becks is an asshole and came on Sunday at two o’clock. But that was her call,” Wallace said.
“This go-around,” I said, “I’m not missing another one. People that don’t know that I missed ask, ‘Well, how did you do in the emergency room?’ I’m like, ‘I wasn’t there,’ and then you see their look on their faces, they’re like, ‘Oh,’ and I’m like, ‘Yeah, I was racing,’ and I don’t want to do that. “It’s fine. I lost the race that day. It’s okay. I can get another race next week. I don’t get another kid. I will be missing a race if it comes down to that, and that’s it, final,” he added.
Performance and Support in the 2025 NASCAR Season
On the track, Bubba Wallace has been competitive this season, securing three top-10 finishes out of four starts. His best chances at victory slipped away at both the Daytona 500 and Echopark Speedway, where his 23XI teammate Tyler Reddick claimed wins, including Circuit of the Americas.
Following a tough result outside the top-10 at Circuit of the Americas, Wallace rebounded impressively with a sixth-place finish at Phoenix. Two of his strong performances came despite starting races deep in the field. Michael Jordan, co-owner of 23XI Racing, provided visible support after Wallace’s setback in Atlanta.

Currently, Wallace stands third in the points standings, trailing leader Tyler Reddick by 72 points with a total of 153 points. The season continues to be highly competitive as Wallace balances the demands of racing and impending fatherhood.
