Daytona Beach, FL – On February 18, 2026, Progressive American Flat Track, governed by AMA Pro Racing, introduced a $27,000 initiative called the Quarters for Kids Campaign to support bike riding education for children. Throughout the 2026 Progressive AFT season, a quarter from every race ticket sold will be donated to fund All Kids Bike Kindergarten PE Learn-to-Ride programs designed to teach young children how to ride bikes.
This campaign aims to provide essential resources that help kids from kindergarten classes across the United States develop confidence and skills in bike riding while connecting fans of flat track racing with a community-driven cause.
How the Learn-to-Ride Program Works in Schools Nationwide
All Kids Bike is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping schools teach students to ride a bike as part of their physical education curriculum. The program offers everything necessary for instruction, from balance training to pedaling techniques, and currently benefits over 180,000 students across the country this school year alone.
Lisa Weyer, Executive Director of All Kids Bike, emphasized the importance of the initiative:
“As huge fans of Progressive American Flat Track racing, we truly believe that inspiring the next generation of racers starts by empowering children to ride at the youngest age possible.”
She added,
“The amazing part of this Quarters for Kids campaign is that it enables AFT fans to help fund the future of the sport. Even if you attend just one race this season, you’ll help 3,000 Kindergarteners discover the confidence and joy of riding a bike.”
Funding Breakdown and Community Impact
The $27,000 target will finance new Learn-to-Ride programs in three schools, with $9,000 allocated per school. Since each program remains active for a decade, this funding will eventually enable around 3,000 children to learn biking skills over time. Even if donations fall short, Tim Estenson has pledged to cover any gaps to guarantee full program support, showcasing the strong commitment of Progressive AFT teams to this cause.

Upcoming Race Dates Supporting the Campaign
The 2026 Progressive American Flat Track season will start with the Royal Enfield Short Track events at Daytona International Speedway’s DAYTONA I & II on March 5 and 6. Following that, the series will move to Senoia Raceway for the Yamaha Atlanta Short Track on March 21.
Fans can contribute to the All Kids Bike programs by purchasing tickets for these events, where 25 cents per ticket directly aids bike education for young students.
Complete Bike Learning Package Offered by All Kids Bike
Launched in 2018, the All Kids Bike Kindergarten PE Learn-to-Ride Program is designed to make bike riding accessible to every child during their school years. The comprehensive package includes teacher training and certification, an eight-lesson curriculum with detailed lesson plans, engaging games and activities, and a full set of biking equipment including 24 Strider balance-to-pedal bikes, pedal conversion kits, adjustable helmets for students and instructors, storage racks, and ongoing support through a dedicated resource portal.
Supported by the Strider Education Foundation, the program currently operates in more than 1,800 schools nationwide, supporting over 180,000 students annually and projecting to help more than one million children over the lifespan of its programs.
How the Quarters for Kids Initiative Amplifies Support
The Quarters for Kids campaign highlights the potential of small contributions to create large-scale impacts. By dedicating just $0.25 per ticket sold or registration handled, the initiative raises meaningful funds to sustain multiple All Kids Bike programs. Because each program lasts up to 10 years within a school, the cumulative effect reaches thousands of kindergarten students, benefiting schools and communities while promoting physical activity and bike safety.
