Brayton Laster confirmed on March 4 that he will compete in the ARCA Menards Series again in 2026, aiming to build on last year’s experience. The driver plans to participate in nine races across two teams: Wayne Peterson Motorsports and Clubb Racing Inc.
Schedule Highlights and Team Assignments
Laster’s season will begin at Kansas Speedway racing with Wayne Peterson Motorsports. He will also drive for Clubb Racing Inc. at the Illinois State Fairgrounds and DuQuoin State Fairgrounds events. Additional tracks planned for his participation include Pocono Raceway, Chicagoland Speedway, Lime Rock Park, Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park, Salem Speedway, and a second appearance at Kansas Speedway, although team details for these dates have yet to be confirmed.
Laster Shares Enthusiasm for 2026 Campaign
Expressing his excitement, Laster commented,
“I am really excited to have the opportunity to return to Wayne and his entire team in 2026.”
“We had a lot of ups and downs last year, and by scaling back, we should be able to have more consistent ups across our 2026 campaign,”
he added. Laster also discussed his outlook on joining Clubb Racing Inc., saying,
“I also can’t wait to get behind the wheel of one of the Clubb Racing Inc. cars. Alex (Clubb, team owner) has really grown his program over the last couple of years, and this will be a really neat opportunity to work with him and his entire team.”
“By scaling back to just part time, it allows us to explore a couple of different options with racing this year at this level and also focus on some more local stuff,”
Laster explained.

In 2025, Laster completed a full season with Wayne Peterson Motorsports, achieving one top-10 finish and concluding the year eighth in overall points. His decision to reduce the number of races in 2026 aims to enhance performance consistency and explore diverse opportunities both within ARCA and at local events.
