I was surprised the No. 62 (Nemechek) didn’t block the lower line. It seemed the seas literally parted and the No. 88 (Majeski) just stayed committed to me.

“I probably would have pushed John Hunter to the win, but he tried to wreck me twice.”
I think, overall, we need to do better as Toyotas. I thought me, Tanner (Gray) and Taylor (Gray) worked together pretty well. Everyone else seemed like they were out there on their own.
Carson Hocevar’s Stage Win Marred by Struggles
Carson Hocevar claimed the Stage 1 victory on lap 20, narrowly edging out Tanner Gray at the finish line. Throughout much of this stage, Hocevar led in his No. 77 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet, often racing alongside teammate Micheal McDowell, who drives the No. 7 Chevrolet.
