Chase Briscoe Claims Third NASCAR Cup Pole of the Season with Record-Breaking Nashville Lap

LEBANON, Tenn. — Chase Briscoe earned his third pole position of the NASCAR Cup season on Saturday at Nashville Superspeedway, setting a new track record with a lap speed of 164.395 mph. This achievement marks his second consecutive pole after leading qualifying for last week’s Coca-Cola 600, highlighting Briscoe’s strong qualifying form this season.

Details of the Nashville Qualifying Results

This latest pole at Nashville follows Briscoe’s earlier success in the Daytona 500, making him the only driver with three poles this year. His previous best starting position at Nashville was 16th in 2021, making this record-breaking qualifying run a notable personal milestone.

Briscoe reflected on his performance, stating,

“I definitely felt like I left a little bit on the table, but I felt like it was a smooth, clean lap and I felt like for sure it was going to be a top-five lap, but it was a surprise that it was as fast as it was,”
