Corey Heim Targets Daytona 500 Debut with 23XI Racing

Corey Heim is set to make his debut in the 2026 Daytona 500, kicking off his partial NASCAR Cup Series schedule this season with 23XI Racing’s No. 67 Toyota team. The race, known as The Great American Race, will take place on Sunday, February 15, with Heim aiming to qualify and earn his first start in NASCAR’s premier event.

Heim’s Progression and Sponsorship Details

Heim, who won the Craftsman Truck Series championship last year, will enter the Daytona 500 carrying primary sponsorship from Robinhood, the finance and investment platform. Robinhood will also expand its involvement with 23XI Racing by sponsoring Bubba Wallace’s No. 23 Toyota in select races this season. The partnership marks a growing commitment as Robinhood builds on its initial 2025 involvement in motorsports.

Heim’s Reflections on the Opportunity

It means a lot to me to have the opportunity to represent Robinhood again this season, and it’s extra special to do so at the Daytona 500,

Heim said in a team statement.

Coming off a great season last year, I’m excited to continue my growth as a driver and look forward to another successful year.

Past Performance and Career Highlights

Signed last February as 23XI Racing’s first development driver, the 23-year-old from Georgia made four Cup Series starts with the team in 2025, achieving a best finish of sixth at Bristol Motor Speedway’s night race. Heim captured 12 victories in 25 Truck Series starts last season driving for Tricon Garage, securing the championship with an impressive 25.8% winning rate over his 89 career Truck Series starts.

Schedule and Future Expectations

If Heim qualifies for Daytona, it will mark his first superspeedway start in the NASCAR Cup Series, adding to his previous success at Daytona where he won the Truck Series opener last year. Additionally, Heim is expected to compete in the Truck Series race at EchoPark Speedway near Atlanta with Robinhood as the primary sponsor.

Robinhood will also back Bubba Wallace’s No. 23 Toyota during the Cook Out Clash exhibition race at Bowman Gray Stadium and support him in early Cup Series events at Circuit of The Americas on March 1 and Phoenix Raceway on March 8. The partnership between 23XI Racing and Robinhood is anticipated to expand further in the 2026 season, following their initial collaboration in multiple races last year.

Growing Importance of the Partnership for 23XI Racing

Robinhood’s entry into NASCAR marks an extension of its sports sponsorship portfolio, which already includes NBA teams, a French soccer club, and college athletics. This growing relationship with 23XI Racing highlights a strategic commitment to motorsports, offering increased visibility for both drivers and the team.
