His teammate Colton Herta, who secured pole position with the NTT P1 Award on Saturday, placed 12th with a best lap of 1:03.3539 in the No. 26 Gainbridge Honda. David Malukas, starting second on the grid, showcased impressive pace by setting the third-quickest lap at 1:02.5052 in the No. 4 Clarience Technologies Chevrolet fielded by A.J. Foyt Enterprises. Callum Ilott also demonstrated speed, finishing fourth in the No. 90 PREMA Racing Chevrolet with a lap of 1:02.6218, even though he begins the 100-lap race from 17th place.
