Kimi Antonelli Unveils £180K Exclusive Mercedes-AMG Ride

Andrea Kimi Antonelli, the promising young driver preparing for his second Formula 1 season with the Brackley-based Mercedes-AMG team, has added a remarkable vehicle to his collection. The 19-year-old recently took delivery of the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 PRO 4MATIC+ Motorsport Collectors Edition, an exclusive model valued at approximately £180,000 that stands out as a collector’s dream.

Unique Design and Features Highlight the Collectors Edition

This ultra-limited model is one of only 200 produced worldwide, making it a rare gem for automotive fans. Finished in a striking metallic obsidian black, it mirrors the aerodynamic elegance of the 2024 Mercedes Formula 1 car. Details such as hand-painted silver arrows on the rear and PETRONAS-turquoise accents add visual flair, while Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2R tires and the AMG Night Package II enhance both style and performance with features like black chrome highlights and a silver chrome AMG fuel filler cap.

Impressive Performance Under the Hood

The car is powered by an AMG 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine, producing 612 horsepower to deliver an intense driving experience. Though exact pricing remains undisclosed, insiders estimate the model’s valuation to exceed £180,000 in recognition of its rarity and engineering excellence.

Antonelli Impresses in Winter Testing with Mercedes-AMG F1

Alongside teammate George Russell, Antonelli recently participated in the shakedown for Mercedes’ 2026 W17 F1 car at Barcelona, focusing on gathering essential data. Reflecting on the session, Antonelli expressed optimism:

“Overall it has been a good shakedown for us,”

he said.

“We’ve had our own issues but that hasn’t hindered our running too much. We’ve completed a lot of laps, and today, I was able to drive for 90 more in the morning session. That is useful mileage to help build our learning about the W17 and gather plenty of data.”

Testing Strategy Emphasizes Data Acquisition Over Speed

The team concentrated on longer runs using the C3 tire compound rather than immediate performance gains. Antonelli noted,

“We were able to understand a little more about how the car and the power unit reacts to a few different set-up options,”

highlighting the focus on refining car setup. With days remaining to analyze findings, Antonelli anticipates further progress during the upcoming official test in Bahrain, sharing,

“I am looking forward to being back in the car and continuing the journey towards the start of the season. We will go there with a good understanding of the car and hopefully we can hit the ground running once again.”

Anticipation Builds for an Exciting F1 Season

As the motorsport community eagerly awaits the 2026 season, all attention will be on Antonelli’s developments both behind the wheel of his exclusive Mercedes-AMG GT and the new W17 Formula 1 car. The combination of Antonelli’s emerging talent and the cutting-edge machinery from Mercedes-AMG points towards an intense and thrilling year ahead for fans and team members alike.
