Kyle Busch, a two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion and one of the sport’s most accomplished drivers, will race in eight NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series events for Spire Motorsports in 2026. HendrickCars.com has been secured as the primary sponsor on the No. 7 Chevrolet Silverado for most of Busch’s scheduled appearances. This partnership, involving the Mooresville, North Carolina-based team, kicks off with the Fr8 Racing 208 at Atlanta Motor Speedway on February 21.
Scheduled Race Dates and Tracks for Busch in 2026
After the season opener at Atlanta, Busch is set to compete at several prominent venues throughout the year, piloting the No. 7 Chevrolet Silverado. His schedule includes Bristol Motor Speedway on April 10, Texas Motor Speedway on May 1, Dover Motor Speedway on May 15, Charlotte Motor Speedway on May 22, Nashville Superspeedway on May 29, North Wilkesboro Speedway on July 18, and Richmond Raceway on August 14.
Kyle Busch Discusses Expanded Truck Series Schedule
Busch expressed enthusiasm about the arrangement, noting an expanded number of races following recent NASCAR rule changes:
“I’m excited that after NASCAR amended the ‘Kyle Busch rule’ that I was able to work it out with Jeff (Dickerson, owner), Brian (Pattie, crew chief) and everyone at Spire Motorsports to increase my race count up to the eight that are allowed this year,”
Busch said.
“With the schedule we’ve put together, the majority of the tracks I’m fortunate to have a lot of wins at but there are also a few that I haven’t won at yet in the CRAFTSMAN Truck Series and will be looking to add to the win list. I’m looking forward to going out each and every race, giving it all we can to get Mr. H, HendrickCars.com and the other partners that will fill out the schedule to Victory Lane.”
Busch’s Past Achievements and Impact in NASCAR
Busch has participated in 10 Truck Series races over the past two seasons for Spire Motorsports, earning three victories along with five top-five and six top-10 finishes. Originating from Las Vegas, he begins the 2026 season with 63 wins in NASCAR’s top tier and has reached the Championship 4 for five straight years from 2015 to 2019. He is among only three active drivers to hold multiple Cup Series titles and has claimed wins at marquee events such as the Brickyard 400 in 2015 and 2016, the Southern 500 in 2008, and the Coca-Cola 600 in 2018.
Beyond the Cup Series, Busch’s dominance spans all national NASCAR divisions. He was the 2009 NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series champion and holds the all-time wins record with 102 victories. In the Truck Series, he stands as the all-time leader with 67 wins and maintains the best average finish of 6.7.
In August 2010, Busch made history by sweeping all three NASCAR national series races at Bristol Motor Speedway in a single weekend, a feat he repeated in August 2017.
