Pramac Yamaha Launches New Look and Welcomes Toprak Razgatlıoğlu

The Pramac Yamaha team kicked off the liveries reveal, celebrating its 25th anniversary in Siena, Italy. The event spotlighted the inclusion of Toprak Razgatlıoğlu, who officially joined the team and will race under the number 7. Razgatlıoğlu appeared in official Pramac gear, signaling his readiness to adapt to the new challenge ahead.

Early testing with Yamaha’s YZR-M1 V4 engine has shown promising results, with notable improvements in acceleration and exit speed from corners. Razgatlıoğlu emphasized the importance of steady progress and consistency as he transitions from World Superbike to MotoGP.

The first tests with the new YZR-M1 V4 have been positive, especially in terms of acceleration and corner exit. Of course, this is just the start — in MotoGP, performance comes from continuous work, data sharing and step-by-step improvement, and that is our focus right now,

The Pramac squad will also debut the fully competitive V4 engine after extensive trials by the Yamaha factory team in 2025, signaling a significant technical step forward for the team this season.

Di Giannantonio expressed confidence and excitement about the season’s potential, noting the livery’s resemblance to Valentino Rossi’s helmet and its aggressive race-inspired look.

I expect to do great races as we ended the year last year in 2025. I hope to grow a lot during the year and fight at the front. It’s super special to start again with the team, with the same stuff this year, which is the first time for me in MotoGP. So feeling great and can’t wait to join the track,

Di Giannantonio shared at the launch.

Morbidelli reflected on improvements needed for the new season but praised the team’s support system, expressing full trust in their ability to back him throughout each race weekend.

Aprilia Maintains Signature Style with Added Lion Emblem

Aprilia’s reveal showcased continuity in their iconic colours, enhanced by the addition of a lion symbol on the bike’s side, reinforcing their spirit and strength. Despite setbacks last season due to missing one of their key riders, the team still delivered an impressive performance overall.

Rider Marco Bezzecchi impressed by clinching third place in the championship during his rookie year with Aprilia. Jorge Martín expressed his ambitions to return to top racing form once fully fit, aiming to challenge for victories.

This will be a year where I want to get back to battling for the top spots and winning. As soon as I am at 100% fitness, we’ll be ready for anything.

Jorge Martín shared during the launch.

Aprilia’s CEO, Massimo Rivola, highlighted the technical advancements of the RS-GP26 bike, emphasizing improvements in aerodynamics, chassis, electronics, and V4 engine development within the limits of MotoGP regulations.

Every area of the bike has been improved, from the further refined aerodynamics to the chassis architecture and all the way to the electronics and V4 engine, which underwent extensive development in every component not restricted by championship regulations.

Last season Aprilia finished second to Ducati, with notable podium battles especially visible in the latter half of the year. This progress fuels hopes they will better challenge Ducati’s dominance in 2026.

Ducati Marks 100 Years with Special Livery and Championship Ambitions

The Ducati Factory Team unveiled a commemorative livery to celebrate their centenary since founding in 1926. With riders Francesco Bagnaia and Marc Márquez leading the charge, Ducati continues to dominate the grid, having secured the ‘Triple Crown’ for three years running.

Marc Márquez, who captured the 2025 title decisively at the Japanese Grand Prix, reflected on recovering from his subsequent injury that sidelined him for the remainder of that season.

Reaffirming my position will be even more difficult, but we have the ability to make the most of the Desmosedici GP package, which is the most competitive and reliable. Regaining my riding confidence after the injury is the first goal,

 Márquez shared at the event.

Although Bagnaia faced challenges in 2025, the team expects a strong comeback in the year ahead. Their impressive new livery symbolizes this renewed focus and ambition.

The 2026 season will have a special significance: a new opportunity to demonstrate our full potential in the year of Ducati’s centenary celebrations and with a truly impressive livery,

Ducati’s continued technical superiority suggests they will remain title favorites, but the improving form of rival teams hints at a more competitive season than before.
