Josh Pierson is an American motorcycle speedway rider born May 12, 1972, in Anaheim, California, best known for representing the United States in major international competitions throughout the 1990s and early 2000s. He was a member of the American team that won the 1993 Speedway World Team Cup at Coventry and made his world final debut at Vojens in 1994, later competing in the inaugural 1995 Speedway Grand Prix. Over his career, Pierson earned 11 caps for the US national speedway team and captured domestic titles including the USA Junior National Championships in 1986 and 1987 and the USA Open Championship in 2000. He rode professionally for several British clubs, including Arena Essex Hammers, London Lions, Bradford Dukes, Eastbourne Eagles, and Belle Vue, with his last British season in 2005.
