Ken Roczen is a German-American professional motocross and supercross racer widely regarded as one of the most talented riders of his generation. Born on 29 April 1994 in Mattstedt, Germany, Roczen first gained international attention as a teenager in the FIM Motocross World Championships before moving to the United States to compete in the AMA circuit. His championship résumé includes the 2011 MX2 World Championship, the 2013 AMA Supercross 250cc West Championship, two 450cc AMA Motocross Championships, and two FIM World Supercross WSX Championships. Renowned for his smooth, fluid riding style and exceptional corner speed, Roczen has also led Team Germany to victory at the Motocross of Nations and has accumulated dozens of premier-class race wins across Supercross and Motocross. Following serious injuries in 2017 and 2018, he mounted one of the sport’s more determined comebacks. He became a naturalized U.S. citizen in March 2025 and currently competes with HEP Suzuki in the AMA Supercross and Motocross series while defending his FIM World Supercross title.
