Sam Mayer is an American professional stock car racing driver competing full-time in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series for Haas Factory Team. Born on June 26, 2003, in Franklin, Wisconsin, Mayer became the youngest NASCAR national champion in 2019 with a K&N Pro Series East title at age 16. He went on to capture multiple NASCAR Xfinity Series wins with JR Motorsports, including victories at Road America, Watkins Glen, the Charlotte Roval, Homestead-Miami, Texas, and Iowa. In 2025, he signed with Haas Factory Team and delivered the organization’s first win at Iowa.
