Shane McElrath is an American professional Motocross and Supercross racer born on August 11, 1994, in Canton, North Carolina. Competing professionally since 2013, McElrath has built a distinguished career spanning the 250 and 450 classes of the AMA Supercross Championship, AMA National Motocross Championship, FIM Motocross World Championship, and FIM Supercross World Championship. He is a two-time FIM Supercross World Champion, claiming the SX2 title in both 2022 and 2024, and added the 2024 Australian Supercross Championship SX2 crown. Currently riding for Quadlock Honda Racing, he earned his first 450SX podium with a second-place finish at Foxborough in 2025.
