As the 2026 NASCAR season begins, Toni Breidinger has announced her plans to compete in eight NASCAR Truck Series events driving for Rackley WAR. This move marks a shift from her 2025 season with Tricon Garage, where she faced challenges adapting from the ARCA Menards Series to the Truck Series despite a solid record of 27 top-ten finishes. Breidinger expressed enthusiasm about the new opportunity, stating,
“I’m incredibly excited to join Rackley WAR and compete in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series again in 2026.”
Her contract with Rackley WAR involves running the No. 27 Chevrolet Silverado RST, with backing from sponsors like Raising Cane’s, CELSIUS, and Sunoco. She added,
“This schedule includes some of the biggest races on the calendar, and I’m proud to represent partners like Raising Cane’s, CELSIUS and Sunoco. I’m ready to get to work and make the most of every opportunity.”
Challenges Faced Early in the Season at Daytona
Despite her readiness to make an impact, Breidinger’s start to the 2026 season at Daytona International Speedway was not as planned. She participated in qualifying for the Fresh from Florida 250 but did not secure a spot among the top 31 qualifying speeds, which meant she was excluded from competing in the race. Several other drivers, including Norm Benning, Bryan Dauzat, Greg Van Alst, Timmy Hill, Tyler Tomassi, and Justin Carroll, also failed to qualify for the event scheduled to be broadcast on FS1 at 7:30 p.m. ET.
Before qualifying, Breidinger shared her excitement on social media, posting photos from Daytona with the caption,
“hi Daytona!! hitting the track for the first time in qualifying soon.”
Fans also responded positively to her Raising Cane’s branded gear during this time.
Breidinger’s Career Progress and Next Steps
At 26 years old, Toni Breidinger continues to navigate her NASCAR Truck Series career after moving up from the ARCA Menards Series. Throughout 2025, her notable performance included an 18th-place finish at Rockingham Speedway, demonstrating her potential despite the difficulties encountered. Transitioning to a limited schedule in 2026 with Rackley WAR could provide a more focused environment for Breidinger to build on her experience.
While missing the Daytona race is a setback, this new partnership may allow her to compete at key events and develop her skills further, aiming to enhance her presence in the NASCAR Truck Series moving forward.
