Although it might seem the two drivers are not close enough for timely wedding gifts, Hamilton has clarified that he plans to give Leclerc a present eventually, just not immediately. The seven-time world champion admitted to Formula 1 that he tends to procrastinate when it comes to gift-giving, especially since he has never been married himself.
Hamilton explained,
“I’ve never been married, so I definitely haven’t given him any advice. I haven’t gotten a wedding gift yet,”
and added,
“I usually delay myself when it comes to gifts like that, so maybe in six months, I’ll give it to him.”

Leclerc described the wedding as an intimate event attended only by family, chosen for its privacy and simplicity. The couple plans to host a larger celebration with friends at a later date, which will require substantial time to organize properly.
He said,
“It was family only, and it was very small and secret in a way, which we really enjoyed. We’ll do another one with all of our closest friends in actually quite a bit of time, [it will] take some time to organise it properly.”
