Following the release of the Michael Schumacher F2004 set in March, Lego has introduced two additional Formula 1-themed products focusing on Ferrari. The Danish company announced collectible helmet sets for Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton, timed ahead of the 2026 Australian Grand Prix. These pieces are part of the Lego Editions series and highlight the close connection between the brand and Formula 1.
The helmets were revealed in Melbourne, where life-sized versions built from over 3,500 Lego bricks were showcased to the drivers. Inspired by last season’s designs, each set contains nearly 900 bricks and, once assembled, stands 14 cm tall, 13 cm wide, and 11 cm deep. Priced at €89.99, both helmet models become available from May 1st in stores and online.
Behind the Design: A Tribute from Passionate Creators
John Ho, Model Design Master at the LEGO Group, expressed enthusiasm about the project:
“As a fan of this sport, I am delighted to reveal these two sets that will soon be available to all supporters and enthusiasts,”
he said.
“It has been a real pleasure to work on these new products with a team of passionate and highly talented designers. The unique curves and intricate details of the helmets represented a fascinating challenge, and our team worked with great dedication to ensure every aspect was faithfully reproduced. Seeing them come to life in a new dimension, in Melbourne, in the hands of two of the best drivers in the world, is a proud moment for the entire team.”
This launch not only honors Ferrari’s rich history in Formula 1 but also allows fans and collectors to celebrate the sport’s worldwide influence through a beloved hobby. As Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton prepare for their duel at the season opener in Melbourne, enthusiasts can now commemorate their rivalry with these detailed Lego sets.
