Colin Braun Set to Drive Kaulig No. 25 Truck at St. Pete

Kaulig Racing revealed on February 21 that Colin Braun will take the wheel of the open No. 25 Kaulig RAM truck at the upcoming race on the St. Petersburg street circuit scheduled for February 28. This marks Braun’s debut in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series with Kaulig Racing at this venue.

Braun’s Racing Experience Across Multiple Series

Braun is a seasoned racer with 24 victories in IMSA and one win in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, having claimed victory at Michigan International Speedway in 2009. That season, he concluded fifth in the overall points, driving the No. 6 truck for Roush Fenway Racing. In addition, Braun recently competed in the 2024 NTT IndyCar Series at St. Petersburg, finishing 20th in the No. 51 car for Dale Coyne Racing.

Rotation of Drivers in Kaulig’s No. 25 Truck This Season

For the 2026 Truck Series campaign, Braun will be the third driver to pilot the No. 25 truck in as many races. Tony Stewart started the season behind the wheel at Daytona International Speedway but crashed, finishing 36th. Ty Dillon is scheduled to drive the same truck at EchoPark Speedway in Atlanta. The upcoming St. Petersburg race will be the first time a NASCAR national series competes on this street course.

Implications of Braun Joining Kaulig at St. Petersburg

Braun’s presence brings experienced versatility to Kaulig Racing’s lineup as they prepare for the new challenge of a street circuit in the national series. Given his history on the St. Petersburg track and diverse racing background, Braun’s role could be pivotal in Kaulig’s performance going forward this season.
