Hamlin’s sole Cup Series victory at EchoPark came in September 2012, when a lightning-quick pit stop during a late caution enabled him to secure the lead and ultimately win in overtime. Although he encountered a setback in the recent Daytona 500 following an accident late in the race, Hamlin demonstrated strong pace by running inside the top 15 for 156 of the 200 laps before the incident.

Chris Gayle, Hamlin’s crew chief, brings extensive experience and success at EchoPark Speedway, having led teams to four top-10 Cup finishes here. In addition, Gayle’s success extends to the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, with three wins at the track—two with Kyle Busch in 2016 and 2021, and one with Ty Gibbs in 2022.

National Debt Relief, the primary sponsor for Hamlin’s No. 11 Toyota in Atlanta, is recognized as an industry leader in debt settlement solutions. Since 2009, it has helped countless individuals manage their finances with confidence, underscoring the partnership’s alignment with resilience and determination on the race track.

Chase Briscoe’s Record and Team Dynamics at EchoPark Speedway

Chase Briscoe pilots the No. 19 Bass Pro Shops Toyota Camry XSE and has made 14 starts at EchoPark Speedway across NASCAR’s three national divisions. His best finish at this track came in 2020 with a ninth place in the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series.

During the 2026 Daytona 500, Briscoe began from the front row for the second year running and led 23 laps before a multi-car collision forced extensive repairs, resulting in a 36th-place finish, 12 laps behind the leader.

James Small, Briscoe’s crew chief for the seventh season and second together at JGR, brings veteran leadership to the No. 19 team. Previously working with Martin Truex Jr. for five years, Small has overall steered his drivers to 11 victories, 60 top-five and 106 top-10 finishes, along with 13 poles and 4,700 laps led in 218 races.

Christopher Bell’s Competitive Edge at Atlanta’s Track

Defending race winner Christopher Bell drives the No. 20 DEWALT Toyota Camry XSE and enters this weekend’s event with momentum at EchoPark Speedway. Last February, starting 32nd, Bell methodically advanced through the field and seized the lead late in the race. Amid a last-lap caution, he maintained the lead when the field was frozen, securing victory. Bell’s overall Atlanta record includes three top-five, four top-10 finishes in 11 Cup starts, along with a pole and a win in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series. His success at this track also dates to his 2017 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series championship season, when he dominated a race by starting on pole, leading 99 laps, and winning.

In the recent Daytona 500, Bell was competitive throughout, commencing 12th and challenging for the lead until a late accident dropped him to 35th place.

For the Atlanta race, DEWALT adorns Bell’s car with sponsoring partners Lithko, a major concrete contractor, on the lower hood and Gardner-Watson Studs featured on the decklid.

Ty Gibbs and His Progress at EchoPark Speedway

Ty Gibbs, competing in the No. 54 SAIA Toyota Camry XSE, has run six NASCAR Cup Series events at EchoPark Speedway with two top-10 finishes, including a ninth place in March 2023. Within the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, Gibbs has started three races at this track, taking a win in March 2022 and a sixth-place finish in July 2023.

At the Daytona 500, Gibbs began 20th and finished 23rd, leading all Joe Gibbs Racing drivers despite involvement in a last-lap accident.

Tyler Allen, entering his second season as crew chief for Gibbs and the No. 54 team, has proven effective in guiding the group to multiple top finishes, including five top-fives and 10 top-10s in the previous year. Allen also led JGR’s No. 20 NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series team to eight wins and a second-place owners’ championship finish in 2024, indicating strong leadership within the organization.
