Rebel Bourbon confirmed it will continue as a primary multi-race sponsor for Kyle Busch and the No. 8 Richard Childress Racing team throughout the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series season, the team announced Monday. This renewal strengthens the ongoing collaboration, highlighting Rebel Bourbon’s renewed focus on supporting Busch’s racing efforts this year.
Shared Spirit Drives Sponsorship Extension
Mike Verlander, president of Richard Childress Racing, emphasized the alignment between the Rebel Bourbon brand and the team’s approach to racing. He stated,
“Rebel Bourbon’s approach to racing closely matches their bold but defiantly smooth premium wheated bourbon. Our partnership reflects a shared willingness to challenge convention, and we’re proud to help introduce Rebel’s unmistakably smooth, yet confidently outspoken, spirits to NASCAR fans.”
Rebel Bourbon will also maintain its title as the
“Official Bourbon of Richard Childress Racing”
during the 2026 season, further solidifying the relationship between the two organizations.
New Liveries and Fan Engagement Planned for the Season
Entering their third year together, Rebel Bourbon and the Richard Childress Racing team plan to debut new custom paint schemes on the No. 8 Chevrolet, starting at the Circuit of the Americas event in March. The sponsorship will feature multiple specially designed liveries throughout the season, accompanied by fan-driven initiatives designed to engage supporters during each race weekend.
Product Collaborations Highlight Partnership Growth
Since the partnership began in 2024, Rebel Bourbon and Richard Childress Racing have closely collaborated on several product releases. These include the limited-edition Kyle Busch 108 Single Barrel Bourbon as well as the Rebel 100 Childress Vineyards Cabernet Franc Barrel Finish. Additionally, Rebel Bourbon recently introduced Rebel Root Beer, a unique infusion of straight bourbon whiskey blended with root beer flavors.
Unfinished Business for Busch and New Crew Chief Formation
Kyle Busch, a two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion, enters the 2026 season still seeking his first victory after a 93-race winless streak. With offseason changes bringing Jim Pohlman from JR Motorsports to serve as Busch’s crew chief, the duo aims to quickly establish momentum. This new driver and crew chief alliance is focused on ending Busch’s drought and bringing the Rebel Bourbon brand back to victory lane.
Looking Ahead: Racing Ambitions for the 2026 Season
The continued partnership between Kyle Busch, Rebel Bourbon, and Richard Childress Racing reflects a strategic effort to blend bold branding with competitive racing. The combination of new car designs, fan engagement, and refreshed team leadership positions the No. 8 team for a hopeful campaign. Fans and stakeholders alike will be watching closely to see if this renewed collaboration can translate into on-track success as the NASCAR season unfolds.
