Chase Briscoe Teases Inevitable Bald Look Soon

During the offseason, NASCAR driver Chase Briscoe of Joe Gibbs Racing used social media and artificial intelligence to show himself with a clean-shaven head, reminiscent of fellow driver Joey Logano. Although the bald look was digitally created and not real, it sparked significant conversation online.

Briscoe openly admits that he has thinning hair, making the virtual bald appearance feel somewhat fitting.

I have social media in an uproar normally every single week, because TV shows me during the National Anthem, and people roast me for how bad my hair is—and lack of hair,

Briscoe said.

Testing the Waters with Fans on a Bald Appearance

To address ongoing jokes about his hair, Briscoe took a lighthearted approach by sharing the AI-generated image, seeing it as a step toward embracing a future bald look. He said this virtual experiment was his way of engaging with fans and preparing them for what is likely down the road.

I felt like I was giving the fans what they wanted,

Briscoe explained.

I was kind of dipping my toe into the bald community. It’s going to happen at some point. It’s inevitable. I’ve been going bald forever, it’s going to happen. I just was trying to dip my toe in and see what the reaction would be.

Briscoe, who will be starting from the outside of the front row in the upcoming DAYTONA 500, hinted that the real change may come sooner than expected.

I might do it over the offseason. I might randomly show up one week this summer with it all cut off. But it’s going to happen at some point, I can assure you.

Anticipating the Reality of His Bald Look

While the AI image presented a smooth and stylized bald head, Briscoe shared that the actual look will likely differ significantly. He described concerns about how the shape of his head and skin tone would affect his appearance once shaved.

The problem is, with the AI thing it looks good, but my head is not that shape,

Briscoe said.

So, it’s going to look totally different when I actually do it. And it’s going to be like the brightest white thing—you’re going to need sunglasses when I take my hat off.

Looking Ahead to a New Image and Its Potential Impact

Chase Briscoe’s playful revelation about his inevitable bald look keeps fans intrigued as he prepares for the upcoming NASCAR season. This change could mark a new personal chapter and add to his public persona as he competes in prominent events like the DAYTONA 500, broadcast on FOX and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio. His openness about this transition reflects a guarded but humorous approach to something he views as unavoidable, connecting with fans through honesty and lightheartedness.
