Jordan Anderson Racing Targets Top Finish at EchoPark Speedway

Jordan Anderson Racing Bommarito Autosport is set to continue its 2026 NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series campaign this weekend at EchoPark Speedway with three drivers: Jeb Burton behind the wheel of the No. 27 Sprayway Chevrolet, Blaine Perkins in the No. 31 Werner Chevrolet, and Ross Chastain making his debut for the team in the No. 32 Protect Your Melon Chevrolet. The second race of the season takes place at the newly reconfigured track near Atlanta, Georgia, which now resembles a superspeedway demanding sharp drafting skills and rapid decision-making.

Jeb Burton Looks to Use Drafting Skills for a Strong Performance

Jeb Burton arrives confident in his ability to leverage his past experience on EchoPark’s modified superspeedway layout. He has consistently finished on the lead lap and placed within the top 15 in previous races here. Burton’s expertise in anticipating lane changes, managing momentum shifts, and strategically positioning himself in the pack will play a key role as the race intensifies.

EchoPark races a lot like a superspeedway now, so it really comes down to timing and trusting the draft,

Burton said.

Burton emphasized the balance between aggression and intelligence during the race.

You have to be aggressive, but you also have to be smart about the moves you make and who you’re working with. Our Sprayway Chevrolet has shown solid speed, and we’ve focused on pit road execution and communication all week. If we can stay in the lead group and put ourselves in position for the final restart, I believe we can compete for a strong finish.

Blaine Perkins Aims to Build on His Strong Daytona Result

Following a top-10 finish at Daytona International Speedway, Blaine Perkins is eager to maintain momentum at EchoPark. Competing in the No. 31 Werner Chevrolet, Perkins faces the challenge of a track that keeps drivers on edge with fast-moving runs and ever-changing pack dynamics. His focus remains on effective draft management and race strategy to remain competitive within the lead group.

This place keeps you on edge from start to finish,

Perkins commented.

He also highlighted the importance of communication and clean pit stops for track position.

The runs build quickly, and you have to think a couple moves ahead. We’ve spent time working on our communication and making sure our pit cycles are clean because track position is everything here. The Werner Chevrolet has speed, and if we stay disciplined and put ourselves in the right lane late, we can fight for a strong result.

Ross Chastain to Make Jordan Anderson Racing Debut in High-Stakes Race

Ross Chastain will make his first start with Jordan Anderson Racing Bommarito Autosport at EchoPark Speedway, bringing notable experience in high-pressure superspeedway racing situations. Alongside the No. 32 Protect Your Melon Chevrolet, Chastain’s assertive yet calculated driving style suits the quick-paced, drafting-heavy competition the track demands.

I’m excited to make my first start with Jordan Anderson Racing Bommarito Autosport,

Chastain said.

He also stressed the importance of momentum and teamwork during the race.

This track rewards drivers who can manage momentum and stay aggressive without crossing the line. You have to trust your instincts and your team. The Protect Your Melon Chevrolet has strong support behind it, and I’m looking forward to building chemistry quickly and putting ourselves in contention when it matters most.

EchoPark Speedway’s High-Speed Drafting Challenge

The reconfiguration of EchoPark Speedway into a superspeedway-style layout creates intense racing with tight drafting packs and close-quarters competition. Jordan Anderson Racing Bommarito Autosport aims to keep all three cars in the lead draft, maintain sharp communication and pit execution, and position drivers for a competitive finish as the laps dwindle down in Georgia.

The Bennett Transportation and Logistics 250 will air live on The CW starting at 5:00 p.m. ET this Saturday. Fans can also listen to flag-to-flag radio coverage via the Performance Racing Network (PRN) and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio channel 90. Updates throughout the weekend will be available on Jordan Anderson Racing Bommarito Autosport’s official Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages.
