Mercedes Formula 1 team has confirmed that Andrea Kimi Antonelli was unharmed after a car accident near his home in San Marino last weekend. The 19-year-old was driving his Mercedes-AMG when the incident occurred, prompting him to contact emergency services immediately.

Police responded promptly to the scene after Antonelli’s call and found that only his vehicle was involved. While the car sustained damage in the crash, the young driver escaped without any injuries.
“We can confirm that Kimi was involved in a traffic accident on Saturday night close to his home in San Marino,”
a Mercedes spokesperson stated.
“The police attended the scene, after being called by Kimi. His was the only car involved and while his vehicle was damaged, Kimi was completely unhurt.”
