Lewis Hamilton Eyes India Trip and Everest Dream Soon

Lewis Hamilton, the renowned Formula 1 driver now racing for Ferrari, has expressed his deep desire to travel across India and journey through the Himalayas, ultimately aiming to scale Mount Everest. This personal aspiration was revealed during a recent interview featured in a video shared by the official F1 channel.

Hamilton stated,

“Where I really want to go is… I wanna travel through India and then make my way up through the Himalayas. That’s like my future dream for me, and then I’m gonna climb Mount Everest.”

Transition to Ferrari and Challenges in the 2025 Season

After a 12-year tenure with Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team, Lewis Hamilton’s move to Scuderia Ferrari in 2025 marked one of the most prominent shifts in Formula 1 history. Hamilton joined forces with Charles Leclerc, but his first season with Ferrari presented significant obstacles. Finishing sixth in the drivers’ championship and trailing Leclerc by 86 points, Hamilton notably missed out on securing any Grand Prix podiums for the first time in his career.

Despite a memorable victory at the Chinese Grand Prix, technical difficulties and multiple on-track incidents hindered Hamilton’s performance throughout the season.

Recent Formula 1 Season Highlights and Rivalries

The 2025 Formula 1 season saw McLaren’s Lando Norris clinch his inaugural World Championship ahead of Red Bull’s Max Verstappen, intensifying competition among top drivers. Over 24 races, Norris, Verstappen, and contender Oscar Piastri delivered thrilling performances, with Norris securing 18 podium finishes and consistently placing in the top five.

McLaren also celebrated their 10th Constructors’ Championship and second consecutive title, winning six Grands Prix including a crucial triumph at the Singapore Grand Prix, where Norris and Piastri led the team’s charge.

Looking Ahead: Hamilton’s Focus Beyond Racing

Hamilton’s transition to Ferrari has been closely watched by fans and analysts who had high expectations for his performance with the new team. Though his debut year was demanding, he now turns his attention toward reclaiming his competitive form for the upcoming 2026 season, which begins with the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne on March 8, following pre-season testing in Bahrain from February 11 to 20.

Alongside his racing ambitions, Hamilton is motivated by his personal goal of exploring India and conquering Mount Everest, symbolizing a balance between his professional challenges and private dreams.
